ST. PHILIP’S FOOD PANTRY
Our church maintains a food pantry, so that we are prepared when we become aware of individuals or families in need of food on a short term, or one-time, basis. We are able to supply necessary items, which can be extremely important to people in emergency situations.
The food pantry needs to be kept well-stocked. Non-perishable food is always needed. All the donated canned or boxed goods are truly appreciated.
We are always in need of spaghetti sauce, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit and cereal. Periodically, we need other items, which are listed in the Sunday bulletin. You can also call the office, to find out which items are most needed.
If you would like to contribute to the Food Pantry, please place any canned or boxed items in the large box in the narthex (entry way of the church) or in the large box in the Social Hall. You can also donate money in the offering plate or in the office and designate that it be used for the Food Pantry.
