Pastor JoAnna was born in Ohio, and has lived in North Carolina, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and now the fabulous state of Delaware. As a daughter of a Lutheran pastor, granddaughter of a Church Council President, graduate of two Lutheran schools, Lenoir-Rhyne University and Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, church has always been in her blood. JoAnna was ordained June 4, 2011 and has served as Associate Pastor at St. Philip's since February. JoAnna is excited about ministry with youth and young people and working with the whole Church to go in bold new directions to serve the community in meaningful ways. JoAnna lives in Newark with her husband Chris, and in her spare time enjoys gardening, reading, and kickin' music.
