Kid’s Club at St. Philip’s
Each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. we invite Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary School aged children to join us for music, crafts, games, and learning. Many different modes of learning are used to present bible stories that help children learn about how much God loves them and the world. Lessons are fun and interactive across age groupings so that older and younger children are learning the same stories, but each are done in age appropriate ways.
However, learning in Kid’s Club is just the beginning. The most important teachers of faith in a child’s life are their parents. So, each week, whether a child is present in class or whether the family was away that week, our hope is that you will click below on this week’s take home learning piece. No, it’s not “one more lesson” on top of homework that you need to do. It is simply things you can talk with your kids about at the dinner table or while driving to help you connect with their learning and share your own views and thoughts about Jesus in your life. We think you’ll be surprised to hear what your kids learn, plus, you’ll be helping to make faith in Jesus Christ part of everyday life . . . that makes faith, less something we do, and, more the people we are.
