The Rite of Confirmation at St. Philip’s

The Confirmation program at St. Philip’s is geared towards 7th-9th graders, and our focus is not just on the bible and small catechism, but on Service in the Community and the World and what it means to be the “Body of Christ.” The Rite of Confirmation is all about baptized people learning the confession, scriptures, life and mission of the Christian Church. It is the Affirmation of your Baptism. This is a special and holy time for our young people in studying and embracing their faith and getting to know the God that loves them. 

It’s a class that helps our young people have a better understanding of the God who loves them and the church that supports them.
