The following videos were segments of a larger video that St. Philip's produced in Spring 2010 for the a program of the Delaware-Maryland Synod called "The Leadership Academy."
The program is designed to help pastors who are in the first ten years of their ministry gain essential skills in active listening, conflict management, and church leadership. With the wonderful talents of our own member, Keaton Davis, we recruited several members of St. Philip's to produce these videos. All of the actors in these videos are members of St. Philip's. The situations in the video use hyperbole and are "tongue-in-cheek," but they are intended to start conversation among pastors about their own need to develop essential pastoral skills. We provide them on our website for your enjoyment and at the request of others throughout our congregation and Synod who have repeatedly asked to see them again.
For those that are hearing impaired, St. Philips has listening devices.
These devices are stored in a rack to the left of the door leading to the Sanctuary. It would be greatly appreciated if they are turned off after each usage.
